 Welcome to the Birthday Foundation
The Birthday Foundation is a ministry of Concordia Lutheran
Church. It's primary goal is to support foster and adoptive children by
providing them with birthday parties and gifts. This is to help the
foster and adoptive parents show the children how important their
special day is not only to their "families" but others in the community.
Along with the birthday parties the Foundation provides several Christmas gifts to each child. The gifts are given to the families to be opened on Christmas morning. This effort was supported by the members of Concordia Lutheran Church and the staff at Whole Foods, Pinecrest in 2010. They are also planning a joint Easter Egg Hunt April, 2011 at Concordia for foster, adoptive and the congregation's children. The Foundation accepts donations from Concordia Lutheran Church, individual donations as well as garage sales and the sale of Foundation wristbands.
